While I prefer our styling cream because, darn it all, my hair is thinning and I need all the volumizing I can get, plus I like the chromatic effects, a ton of our customers swear by this pomade because they love that it shines up their hair with absolutely no greasiness (the rather complex pomade formulation is water-based). It’s important to note that unlike other pomades that can be waxy or stiff, ours is very light. We’ve been kind of surprised by how many women with longer hair have been buying it, as our original idea was that it was for guys with short hair. They use it “strategically” just on the parts of their hair they want to style and shine. Finally, because this is what is called a "ringing emulsion," if you tap the side of the jar, it will indeed ring and vibrate. The universe is weird.

People who like it say 1) it adds shine and luster without “gunking up” their hair 2) that they’ve had trouble finding a styling product that’s “so clean” but works so well 3) that it’s great it’s unscented

People who didn’t like it said 1) it doesn’t provide enough hold
