Not everyone needs to condition, nor does the hair necessarily need to be conditioned with every shampoo. It depends on many factors, including what kind of hair you have and whether you were breast-fed as a child. OK, maybe not that last part. But again we have a situation where the beauty industry has mesmerized us all into thinking we must squirt great gobs of goop onto our heads morning noon and night when a lot of that goop is smelly, greasy and simply…creates the need to shampoo more often. Cha-ching. Given that hair is basically and epidemiologically, um, dead skin, when you condition, you are actually moisturizing the hair. Now would you put that goopy junk they call conditioner on your skin? We wouldn’t either, which is why our conditioner doesn’t have any artificial color or fragrance and why, gulp, it is so high-grade that some of our customers actually use it as a moisturizer.

People who like it say 1) it is the least greasy and most effective conditioner they’ve ever used 2) that they like how understated the scent is 3) that it makes their hair soft and shiny without building up or feeling “cruddy”

People who didn’t like it 1) say it isn’t strong enough for their super-wiry or extra hard to manage hair 2) like a stronger scent/don’t like this scent
