This soothing after-shave is alcohol-free and was formulated especially for those with sensitive or dry skin. The fresh clean scent is derived from steam-distilled cucumbers, which also help heal and replenish just-shaved skin. We add all-natural witch hazel hydrosol (a steam distillation of the actual witch hazel plant) for gentle toning, and for the piece-de-resistance, Rose Hip oil, a miracle emollient that goes on smooth, absorbs quickly, lasts for hours.
It all adds up to one skin-feast of an after-shave, especially useful for those with sensitive, dry or easily irritated skin, or anyone who enjoys an aromatically sensual treat. It's also a rewarding value when compared, as it so often is, to the Gentlemen's Refinery After Shave Balm, an excellent product priced at $37 for 3.4 ounces.
Trying to decide between the Replenishing Gel, the Cooling Gel and the Blossomwood Balm? The Replenishing Gel works best for people with sensitive or dryer skin, while the Cooling Gel works best for people with normal to oilier skin and the Blossomwood Balm is formulated for all skin types. You can also select based on scent preference. The Cooling Gel has our Signature scent; the Replenishing Gel has a light Cucumber scent and the Blossomwood Balm, unsurprisingly, contains our popular Blossomwood blend of woodsy, floral and citrus notes.

People who like itsay it's light but moisturizes deeply and long-lastingly, that the scent is fresh and stronger than the shave cream "but in a really good way, more like the facial moisturizer" and that it's "the perfect balance between the lushness of a balm and the absorbency of a gel."
People who didn't like it said they didn't like the scent of cucumbers, preferred "less moisturizing" aftershaves (liked more bracing aftershave formulas)
