Customers had asked us to develop facemasks for a long time but I’d tried so many duds over the years that I was kind of turned off by the whole idea. So many of them were just goopy creams that I’d slather on excitedly just like a child on Christmas morning, only to find I’d received a thesaurus. I think a mask should do something, not just sit on the skin like a limp noodle. In this case, that something is to sop up excess oil and promote healing of acne-prone skin and brightening (I know that’s a weird word to use but I think you know what I mean) of dullish problem skin. We’ve got to admit that the tingly sensation can feel rather intense for some people, so if that doesn’t float your boat, this product isn’t for you.

People who like it say 1) it’s like “getting a spa facial” 2) that it wakes up and refreshes their skin, especially after a weekend of partying or heavy eating 3) that the tingle “is the very best part”

People who didn’t like it 1) said the tingle was uncomfortable
