What kept us from enjoying the incredible flavor of loose teas for far too long was the hassle factor. Let’s face it: tea bags are simple and loose tea is messy and irritating. Until now. Here’s how it works, so cinchy even I who literally cannot empty the dryer lint trap without calling the fire department for assistance can do it. You boil your water. You dump a teaspoon of tea in the infuser pot. You fill the infuser pot with your boiling water. You wait 3 or 4 minutes depending on how strong you want your tea. (Or combine all those steps using the microwave.) You set the infuser pot on your tea cup (it works on any size cup). A magical valve (I swear this company has made a FORTUNE on this thing) releases all the tea into your cup and the icky tea leaves stay in the pot. Enjoy your tea. The company says (there are actual printed directions in the box you get) that you can then put it in the dishwasher but we just rinse it out, you can do whatever you want there’s no law about it as far as we know.
