Jeepers we sell a lot of this stuff, and after staying at an array of high-end spas (“But it was RESEARCH!” I kept exclaiming to our accountant, who simply rolled his eyes) I can tell you why. Most scrubs are just salt swimming in oil, and not-so-high-grade oil at that. The reason ours stands out is the shea butter. Super-purified cold-pressed extracts of the shea nut are so rich they should be illegal.
As the French sea salts polish the old dead skin cells off, the shea butter and premium jojoba, sweet almond and sunflower oils drench the underlying skin layer with rich hydration, rendering it soft, supple and gleaming. You won’t believe it until you try it—or talk to someone who has. This is the perfect thing to use before a big date because it makes you feel like you’ve got the skin you always thought you deserved but somehow didn’t get. And though it’s been a while since I had a big date, I do remember needing every extra helping of confidence I could muster. (Now I use it when I wear shorts out to dinner in our thankfully casual Sonoma wine country, and in the winter when my skin seems especially dry and dull looking.)
An added bonus of the Signature scrub is the light tingly coolness you get after using it, a natural effect of the Washington peppermint in the custom essential oil blend that scents it. Choose signature, citrus or sweetgrass.
24oz/680g
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS: First, fully cleanse your body in the shower or bath. Then turn off the water and take some scrub in your hands (or put it on a washcloth) and rub it gently on your legs and arms and torso, adding scrub as necessary. We don’t recommend using this product on the face or nether regions. Then, turn the shower back on and rinse off. Because the shea butter & oil will still be resting on your skin, just lightly blot yourself dry with a towel, then put on a robe and hang out for about 15 minutes so your skin can absorb it. Your skin may redden, which is normal. However, if you break out in a rash, discontinue use.
INGREDIENTS: French sea salts, sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, natural essential oils, Vitamin E.
