This is it, the bar we launched our company with, the original deal for which we're known the world over. We use only the rarest essential plant oils to scent it, no artificial colors or ingredients, and the saddle shape fits perfectly in your hand, though at a hefty 7 ounces, it is a little oversized until you've used it a few times.
Most supermarket and drugstore soaps are made with tallow, which is beef fat. Besides the notion that rubbing a cow's innards all over one's body is repulsive, those soaps aren't very good. In fact they're terrible. They're harsh on the skin, leaving it dry and tough. Plus they smell too strong and funky because they're scented with chemicals that are so strong to cover up the aforementioned ickiness. And this is the stuff we're supposed to use to clean and refresh our own skin?
In contrast, our bar soap contains simple ingredients that gently cleanse and nourish your skin. Olive oil, coconut oil, palm kernel oil, distilled water and the essential plant oils that provide all-natural scent. It's a lot more expensive to make soap this way because these premium ingredients are a lot more difficult to come by than tallow and artificial fragrance. But good soap is one of those seemingly inconsequential things that makes life sweeter. The Art of Shaving sells their 6 oz tangerine essential oil bar for $18, or nearly 3 times the price of ours on an ounce-for-ounce basis. If you can find a better soap at a more reasonable price than ours, buy it.

REPLENISHING is subtle and clean, because it's made with real steam-distilled cucumber essence and a touch of California lemon oil. Like bathing in a fresh spring garden.
INVIGORATING is a tingly wake-up call of pure peppermint and spearmint essential oils. It's refreshing and lively, perfect for folks who need a little extra oomph to get going. Jack's favorite.
SWEETGRASS is rich and complex. Fresh Italian lemon and Indian lemongrass are tempered by the woodsiness of Moroccan cedar and finished with a note of Egyptian rose geranium. It's an aromatic scent that recalls the perfect warm summer eveninglush, romantic, enveloping.
SPA is composed of Australian eucalyptus, California lemon and Washington mint. This scent was inspired by one of our favorite Calistoga resorts and is clean, refreshing and lively.
BLOSSOMWOOD includes top citrus and florals with deeper wood notes. The petitgrain essential oil, made from the leaves and bark of the orange tree, imparts a surprisingly fresh woodsiness. The overall blend is redolent of plum blossoms, neroli and jacaranda wood.
